Troy Cunningham, VP – Adventure Programming – Bamboo Arts Center

Troy brings 25 years of experiential instruction to Bamboo Arts’ Adventure Programs.

He is an Adventure Guide and Team Development Facilitator who provides guidance in kayaking, canoeing, nature photography, challenge course experiences and a variety of recreational adventures. Troy delivers skill instruction and guiding services nationally.

In addition to his involvement with Bamboo Arts, Troy has created two for-profit ventures: Wild Earth Eco-Adventures and TeamZwork Leadership Alliance.

Specializing in outdoor adventures and tourism; Wild Earth Eco-Adventures is committed to quality instruction and unique adventure itineraries. TeamZwork Leadership Alliance provides training opportunities in team development and leadership; creative teaching and learning strategies; and community building.

Troy has a BLS in Outdoor Leadership and an AA in Photography from the University of Maine system. He combines his creativity and leadership background with training in experiential education from Outward Bound, Project Adventure, Wilderness Inquiry, Job Corps, and Maine Bound. Troy currently delivers contract training and facilitation for a variety of organizations.

With an interest in Aikido, Tai Chi and Yoga, Troy appreciates the mission of the Bamboo Arts Center. He seeks to foster collaborative and creative learning adventures that encourage self-discovery.
